CONVERSATIONS WITH JOYA
This is the authorized biography of my 9-year-old daughter becoming a person. (I draw us as balloons because I can draw balloons.) Since age three, Joya’s questions, declarations and observations have sent me scrambling for a marker to cronicle her amazing kid-wisdom. I’ve captured hundreds of unaltered quotes.
